Sessions begin at 2 pm and 5 pm at the cable car station on the mountain.
Special group trips are available outside of these times from 1st May to 1st November.

All prices include 19% VAT.
It is only possible to pay by cash at the scooter issuing point, EC or Credit cards are not accepted!
Payment is to be made at the top cable car station where tickets and scooters are issued.

Prices include protective equipment (helmet, elbow- and knee protectors, gloves).
Minimum age of
12 years + minimum height of 150 cm (to ensure safe operation of the scooter).
Maximum weight 120 kg.
Experience has shown scooter trips to last around 90 minutes, including getting changed prior
following to the ride. This can however vary considerably and take more or less time.
For groups of 15 or more, it's better to schedule 120 minutes to complete the trip.
In the case of youngsters taking part, a parent or legal guardian is required to give consent.
Prior reservation is recommended for groups of 25 people and over. We are happy to accept
reservations upon prepayment and a concrete booking. Cancellations can be made free of
charge up to
7 days before the scooter trip.
It`s simple: bookings can be made by phone, fax or mail - immediate confirmation of your
reservation/ invoice (with VAT stated separately) is sent by post.

The scooter track is for those with a normal level of fitness and good physical shape (for example, no
cardiac problems or poor circulation). Sturdy, closed shoes and durable hiking clothes with long trousers

We have a maximum of 50 scooters, which are often not all in use. If you are certain you would
like to go
on a scooter trip, give us a ring on our hotline (07 61) 2 64 68 to check if scooters are available. We run two
scooter trips per day. There is less demand for the trip beginning at 5 pm.
For your safety
Before each scooter trip participants receive a basic briefing regarding our high-tech scooters.
Safety equipment including helmets, elbow- and knee protectors and gloves will be provided .
For reasons of safety, participants go down in loose groups followed by our knowledgeable
who is able to assist with any punctures.
The scooter rides are weather dependent: due to decreased
traction, no trips will take place in

The Schauinsland cable car, the longest continuous cable car in Germany, is a special journey in itself. Prices reductions are made using both the Schauinsland cable car and scooter rides:

Schauinsland cable car tickets: € 7 instead of € 9 (for scooter trips)
Regular scooter trips: € 23 instead of € 25 (with a Schauinsland cable car ticket)
